What a decade the 80s was. Yep, the fashions were a little strange, but wasn't the music just FANTASTIC!
My name is Owen Andrew (that's me, over there >>), and I'd like to welcome you to the website for my weekly radio show, Remember The 80s.
Running since 2009, Remember The 80s is broadcast LIVE every Wednesday online, on internet radio station Reach OnAir. A recording of the show is then uploaded to a podcast server, and is then available for you to listen to or download anywhere, anytime, to listen to at your leisure.
Every Wednesday, you'll hear me resurrecting not only the most familar hits of the 80s, but also loads of those records that you probably haven't heard in years.
But let's not forget those songs that we thought were great at the time, but now make us cringe with embarrassment... I call those The Songs That Should Never Have Been Born, and I feature one (thankfully, just one), every week on the show.
There's always this week's UK Top 10 singles chart from an 80s year to kick off this three hour retro extravaganza, with stacks of 80s artists' birthday celebrations to follow.
